The summer months are upon us and the heat is here for the duration. I hope you all have been keeping cool and drinking plenty of fluids. The return of the afternoon thunderstorms is here I urge you to always check weather before you go flying and plan accordingly. Also this month we have the annual EAA Oshkosh Airshow in Wisconsin which promises to be an amazing site for all to see. While the increased temperatures may cut down on the flying several of us do I encourage you to keep your currency up. The work continues on the F4U Corsair Glenn & I are building. We invite you to stop by the hangar on Wednesdays and Saturdays and join us. As a chapter we will try to plan a dinner fly-out at the end of the month to St. Simons or another popular $100 hamburger run spot. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting on Thursday.
